Soft, true-to-life skin, handled with a light touch. Newborn and maternity images are judged on skin. We even out redness, peeling and blotchy tones, keep skin soft but real, and balance the warm and cool shifts that window light and wraps create, so every frame looks gentle and honest.
Every frame gets colour correction in your style plus gentle skin work: newborn redness, peeling and milk spots, minor scratches, and maternity skin evened out without erasing texture. Backdrops and wraps are cleaned so the focus stays on the baby and the family.
Composites and heavy cleanup are handled per frame on the images you choose. Body adjustments are only ever made when you ask for them.
Colour and white balance matched to your style Gentle skin work on every frame: redness, peeling, milk spots Natural maternity skin smoothing that keeps texture Backdrop and wrap cleanup Composites and heavy retouching on request Unlimited revisions against your style profile
Newborn photo retouching is the gentle skin and colour work that makes a newborn gallery look soft and calm: evening out redness, peeling and milk spots, balancing the warm and cool shifts from window light, and cleaning up wraps and backdrops, while the baby’s skin still looks real. Maternity retouching follows the same principle. Skin is evened out, colour is balanced and backdrops are cleaned, and the body is never reshaped unless you ask for it.
Redness and blotchy patches, common in the first weeks Peeling and dry skin on hands, feet and face Milk spots and small blemishes Tiny scratches from the baby’s own nails A yellow cast in skin, balanced gently so it still looks natural Lint, fuzz and creases on wraps, blankets and props Backdrop seams, clamps and stands at the edge of the frame
We never reshape a newborn Birthmarks stay unless the family asks for them to be softened or removed Skin keeps its texture; no plastic, airbrushed finish Maternity bodies are not slimmed or reshaped unless you ask
